Hi everybody I recently made a homemade Bong and as it was a fun creative project, I would like to share my story, my insights about homemade bongs, and hopefully you will contribute. We can all share our passion of home made bongs So...sorry I'm high typing this, so, if anything sounds dumb or whatever I'm high. I'd imagine, or hope, I'm in good company so anyway, I made a triple chamber bong with an ice-catcher, an ash-catcher, a removable slide, and two percolators. I constructed it with some ice springs water or something like that, it was imported water from iceland...not as expensive as it sounds; its just spring water, and as spring water it is pretty cheap- $1.20 per bottle. So I buy three of these bottles and cut the bottoms off of two of them. I also created holes in in the middle of all of the bottle caps except one, that one being the ice catcher/last chamber that I would be ripping out of. Then I grabbed a socket, a glass bong slide, a medicine bottle and some aluminum piping. I used the socket to make a mini-downstem, gorilla glued into the medicine bottle cap. I then cut a hole in- wait, I need to pause here. I did mention I used a sharp knife and scissors right? well thats what I did. Anyway, I cut a hole in the side of the medicine bottle (towards the top) and stuck the aluminum tubing in there, pointing up at a 45 degree angle; so that the ashcatcher could act like a bubbler without the water draining or flooding. Then I superglued the cap of the medicine bottle (with the glue-sealed socket impaling the bottle cap) to the medicine bottle, and sealed the aluminum pipe to the medicine bottle, again with gorilla glue Then I glued the water bottles together to make two medicine bottle percolators (look up some home made percs, it looks about the same), and another chamber that served only as an ice catcher. The gorilla glue is 100% waterproof, its super strong, and its nontoxic when it cures. It created a GODLY seal...not a drop of water escapes..ever. So this thing essentially rips really fucking hard, I made it myself, it is made with safe material, and it has two percs Hopefully I can post some pictures soon. I just smoked a little bowl through it a couple of minutes ago and I am sufficiently blazed. It rips sooo smooth too! What are your experiences, thoughts, strategies, etc, for bong building? I've made quite a few home-made bongs when I had nothing else to smoke out of. Making your own perculator isn't as hard as it seems, and they usually work quite well.
I constructed a homemade bong today and thought i would share aswell. After discovering the "paff mami" bottle to bong converter online I decided I would try my hand at creating a similar product, because I couldnt be arsed to spend money and get it shipped, (already had a look in my LHS, but couldnt find anything similar). I only used stuff I had at home, which mostly included some old spare pumping pieces and a pipe off a broken wind chime, plus some random odds and ends. The end product looked sort of like a shotgun, mixed with a bong, because I could be bothered to seal up the opposite pipe end, hehe. So when I use it, I treat it like a shotgun, as if its got a massive carb. Turns out it hits smooth as, much better than my pipe in fact. Ill probably try and take care of it and make it last, due to the effort I put in, and the quality of the hits. I might try to upgrade it to a proper bowl soon, haha. By the way, I named it the “Puff Dadi”...geddit?!? Also, if the links dont work give us a shout (its my first time uploading pictures)
Oh, i just finnished making a bong out of a beer bottle! and i made a really nice hole without a drill then i took your typical bic type pen tube as my down stem and at the end i cut the tip of the pen cap off and stretched it over the pen tube so i could put the bowl/stem in snug but slide-y the stem is the springy door stopper (the kind screwed into the wall you played with as a kid) and i fit a socket bit on the end as the bowl (glued it on four airtightnes) then super glued the cra outta the downtube to make it stay nice 'n tight in the bottle. no digi cam or i would post pics.
