Okay, so basically i made a quick 10 min sketch of what i intend to create. It's going to be a sweet little device that can fit in your hands, but it should provide massive hits that can be extremely smooth. Heres the plan, and the progress ive made so far is below: With this plan, the straw should cool the smoke over and over since its constantly exposed to the water. Benefits of design: -The plan calls for an airtight seal on evreything except for the outgoing smoke -Smoke will cool very rapidly and travel far in a short amount of distance -Provides a cool effect when you slowly inhale -Can mix and match different bowls; or have a buddy match the other one -Smoke will not roll out of the glass eaisly since the smoke has to pass thru swirly straws. -fairly durable jar with a cool magnification effect when filled with water Heres the current progress picture; although the design has a few flaws: The problems ive encountered: -How to fit the staws inside and suspend them down from the lid??? -Sketchy material used for sealing, i used a acrylic urethane sealant, although technically the intake is essentially sealed when the bowl is inserted im not sure that this is entirely healthy? someone want to give some input? technically the smoke passes only though glass and there is no sealant on the inside of the jar. Its all on the outside. -The bowl is top heavy and doesn't quite sit right, anyone have any ideas on how to add more weight to the bottom so the downspout goes deeper inside the water? -I could'nt angle the glass drilling to allow the bowl to sit better, its hard enough to drill through the shit haha. Any suggestions? would you guys try using such a device haha? or is this just madness?
