Ha they are literally blue balls. As for the ice, I made sure to put shards of lead in the water before freezing.
Essentially they act as a diffuser, they break up the bubbles and create more filtration through the water.
oh ok, and the glass bead seems like a pretty good idea. i might even put some in the bottom of my acrylic bong.

Yeah, definitely post a video. I'd love to see this thing in action. Only addition I would make would be a percolator(If the second chamber doesn't hold water), but it seems as if you have enough filtration going on. Anyways, I can never seem to make my percolators air-tight. +rep if you get back to us with that video!
Actually a perc was made but i decided to scrap it because it hit just fine to me and there was drag with it when clearing. I'll bring the nikon out and take pictures considering icapture has one upped me here. And get the videos up today.
