Hey guys, I was a bit bored over the weekend, the glass blower where I'm learning is upgrading all his equipment so no glass for me for the moment... so I wandered down to the local hardware store, Bunnings (an Australian version of Home Depot I guess) I had a bit of an idea in mind but it was refined as I walked around the store looking at what pieces I can use to McGuyver into something useful. Plastic is fun! Here is the end result

Thanks mate It's 8 arms around but has 2 in the middle = 10 arms with 2 slits per arm! It has the smooooothest hits! I've been packing monster hits... have a disc diffused slide with screen and it burns all the herb! It cost me $18 man... I'm very pleased!
fuck yeah. You got a vape though? Id rig mine up to that in a heart beat! I'm thinking I'm going to make an inline style with it a plug for a mouth piece at the top. That'd be badass watching the bubbles!
Yeah man, got a vape. I plug it into my glass... never thought of putting it thru this. Having a go now... **edit** Okay so I packed my vape and added a whole bunch of kief.... it worked perfectly! oh my I've had waaaay to much green

No to the diffuser... but what makes this way better is that you can take it apart. The real vortex is a bitch to clean and collects resin quickly(I would assume?)
I have noticed that there isn't much discolouration of the clear plastic... i have noticed a little bit of resin buld up on the inside of the diffy (thats to be expected though) It is hot glue gunned sealed - but it is easy enough to dismantle, clean then re-glue. I wouldn't mind refining it and look into getting this into production (start off with 50 or so) just checking out some plastic/acrylic/injection moulding companies in my area. Also had a though about making some 'travel-heady' - plastic that looks like glass (nice thick clear acrylic) and in the shapes of some popular tubes like the toro / itza 7/13 or the illadelph coil or LW inlines. I'm sure that a glass 18.8mm male in a female 18.8 made of acrylic with a slip in silicone sleeve will create a nice seal. Travel and party safe!
