Hi there. I'm in Australia, & I have been growing in a greenhouse using the winter sun..... At night lights go on to keep in vege ...about 17 hours all up Outside light just under 12 hours... Had four diff fem strains... two I made myself with colloidal silver ...two that came from america .. So the plants I have put outside we are talking around 400 around 20 per cent have gone hermie... I thought was my seed making but now notice it has happened to all four strains... I'm guessing it's an environmental problem.... The really big plants don't go hermie, it's the smaller ones. Am thinking they just hate it out there in the paddock ..Indica strains and sativa strains both doing it ??? We can do three grows a year I normally do in a hydro tent then put out ... first time trying the greenhouse using sun and then lights. I wonder why some are going hermie (from each strain) and some aren't? Reply Report Edit
Have you actually seen male parts or are you only seeing seeing seeds and assuming you have a hermie?
Yeah def hermies Ill try get a picture today.. I grew a summer crop straight from seed and no hermies at all... They are high cbd strains (cp4 ,beb).... Its funny all thc strains done the same way have been fine but four times the size though.. and put on a different farm.. Wondering if putting out to small and just not coping with the stress even though nice time of year.
