Collab HELP!!! SG Peyote Pillar or Luke Wilson & D-WRECK 10/6 COLLAB

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by bostonbuds87, Mar 28, 2011.

  1. So, I have narrowed my choices to these two items, and I am having trouble deciding which one I want. So I am coming to you guys for help. if you are unfamiliar with the LW/D-Wreck Collab, check it out on ALT. Having enough money isn't a factor so keep that in mind with your responses. If there is any other glass people would like to suggest, I am open to other options as well, I am looking for something of very high quality.

  2. Pillar if you want the highest quality scientific function. Collab if you are more interested in going heady.

  3. yeah this is my exact dillemma i cant decide if i want functionability or style

  4. If you're a man who can really appreciate the best function you can buy, just admiring a non-worked SG Pillar for it's scientific attributes is aesthetically pleasing alone. :smoke:

  5. If you were smart you'd get more bang for your buck on boro market. Assuming you already have a subscription. They're not offering any more subscriptions as of right now but pm one of the admins and ask? Trust me its worth the trouble of doing. Alt is way overpricing their glass imo.

  6. i have had a lot of trouble finding out exact pricing for the SG Peyote Pillar, what are the differences in price for, lets say, hollow foot/non hollow foot, bent/not bent neck, and worked/not worked?

  7. Is it that D wreck luke wilson 2010 what is 2,000 if so that thing is sexy as fuck i'd choose that to replace a porn magazine.

  8. @ ty
almost certain the OP is by my inductions due to the fact there isn't any pillars on ALT at the present moment.

although i agree ALT can be pretty steep.

  9. trust me dude ive tried getting on Boro, no luck yet, because like you said the subscriptions are closed......a shop in rhode island has pillars but the guy wont discuss pricing on the phone(lame)

  10. yes, you are thinking of the correct one

  11. There is a straight peyote pillar going on BM right now for ~$900 or so. Expect them to be pretty high at OPM as well unless you are a frequent customer, but they usually have a few pillars, among other high end glass. I got my SB 5-7 there. Either way, best of luck with your new tube man! Nice to see some more glass addicts in the Boston area

  12. well ive bought 2 toros from OPM and 2 RooRs since 2008, so i would hope he considers me a frequent customer.....any idea what he was charging for them exactly, and did he have bent necks? Thanks for the info!

  13. If ur gonna spend 2 grand why not get a bong and a few different slides or something? I wouldn't just blow 2 grand on glass that just seems dumb to me but hey if its what makes you happy go for it lol... I'd get a 2010bc gridded circ bubbler and a stemline if i had that money. Plus a few slides and some bud to go with the new glass :smoke:

  14. That LW has been on ALT for almost 6 months for a reason. 2k is WAYYYY over priced for that piece. I would go with the pillar.

  15. this :D

  16. depends on what your getting it for id day, if your getting it to be a daily driver, i would get the LW
if your looking to just get somethign different to rip whenever, and you have a nice tube that you rip daily, id get the peyote. i loved my peyote but i didnt really enjoy it being my DD for a little, it rips great, but not for a daily driver imo

  17. Also depends on how you look at it the detail on it is crazy and etc.

  18. i think im gonna go with the pillar so at least i have some money left over for other stuff, thanks for your help guys

I would die for that lw/d wreck tube man if money is no problem def. Go with that.

But if u do get a pillar get the hollow foot

  20. Sg doesn't produce a straight hollow foot. Only natty splash
