Hand made wooden pipe

  1. Use hard wood, Oak trees are great, I usually use saplings. Cut your sections to the length you want. To dry them wrap them in paper towel and microwave, otherwise the wood will split and crack from the outside drying before the inside. For holes just use a drill and wood drill bits. I also recommend using a Dremel for sanding bowl pieces.

    I don't know how to identify tree species and don't know if I have a drill lying around, but I will try the microwave thing, thank you :)
     
  3. I collect wooden pipes, especially bamboo pieces and I'm in love with my new one....after i bought it, i see it on ebay right now even cheaper, but it's all good.
