Hello folks. I successfully made my FECO and it works really well. I would like to make a green dragon tincture next -for quicker results that don't last as long. (I would like to eliminate smoking) I have read that you take it sublingually for 60 seconds and it comes on pretty quickly compared to the FECO which for me takes about 1.5- 2 hrs for the full effect to be felt. When I take herbal tinctures sublingually they burn the hell out of me so I was wondering if I add MCT oil too the green dragon would it mix enough to take it sublingually without it burning so badly?
I eliminated the burn by adding my tinc to a bit of yogurt. I add a bit of extracted bud as well for fiber.
@PsychedelicSam always recommended adding your tincture to a shot glass of water and swishing before swallowing. If you add oil it's not going to work as well sublingually, but you may want to try a dose to see.
Oil is just a poor medium for sublingual use, alcohol burns sublingually and honestly I'd ditch the sublingual pain & do as Sam suggested.
I've been infusing my tinc into honey. 15 min I'm buzzing. It is more time consuming and costlier but my favorite way to invest.
Alcohol evaporates. Leave the cap off your bottle of alcohol based tinc until it gets to a point you like.
I infused a TBSP of sugar with .64 grams of kief in an alcohol tincture. This will hopefully be one good dose for me. I plan on making hot tea when the baby I care for goes home this afternoon.
