They do make a pipe lighter with a bottom flame, but the flame is a jet and it torches the goodies way too fast.
Yes...but...turn your lighter upside down...which way does the flame point? Up? Hmmm...wonder why lighters light on the top, not the bottom... Would be a cool idea except for that damn physics thing...
Not to thread jack but where can I get one of those blow torch lighters that are wind resistant but are the same size as a normal bic nobody around here has them even the hs and tobacco shops don't carry them pmo.
You could try one of the butane soldering irons...portable, easy, no flame... I have no idea what the tips are made of, but you could look into that to make sure it wasn't toxic... I've always found them at a variety store...
I can never find them I've gone to countless gas stations and tobacco stores and all they have is zippos and bics and electric lighters. Idk maybe just wrong place wrong time.
Haha, I can imagine giving that to my friend to light the bowl and him not knowing that it's a bottom lighter and burning the shit out of his hand.
Don't really see the point...I have seen some lighters like that though. About the torch lighters, I got a cheap one on ebay for like $1. About the same quality and size as a Bic. Plus it's refillable. Torch lighters work great if you know how to use them. I live in Northern Michigan so we get a lot of wind, which sucks for normal lighters. But hold the torch lighter horizontal to the bowl and it won't burn too fast.
