?

Who would you pull the lever for?

  1. Trump/Pence

    46 vote(s)
    51.1%
  2. Biden/Harris

    32 vote(s)
    35.6%
  3. Abstain/3rd party

    12 vote(s)
    13.3%
  1. If it were to be held today... just curious as to where the community stands:)

  2. After Biden's statement about banning assault weapons over the weekend I'm definitely voting for Trump. I'm a big 2A fan especially during these times and any candidate that even mentions gun control will lose my vote.

  4. Indeed. It takes a certain amount of ridiculousness to argue that police should be defunded AND you should not have the means for self defense. These days certainly provide strong examples of 2A need, especially since local politicians have proven to be so ineffective at curbing violence.

“No one needs guns. The police will protect you.”

    also:

“Let’s defund the police. And take any means of self defense away.”

I don’t necessarily think the local officials are ineffective at stopping the violence, it’s just they don’t want to at this point. It’s political fodder to let them loot and riot up to the election. And if trump wins a second term, I don’t see the rioting stopping or slowing down. Most likely they’ll ramp up the intensity. You can’t stop a spoiled brat from lashing out by letting them continue to throw a fit.

  6. I think the true answer is live in such a manner where there is no need for defense, or police, we are human beings, the only creature on earth that is a being, why is it so many do not know how to simply be.

Trump is currently ahead, 2 to 1 over the Democrats, third parties, and abstainers.

  10. How anyone can support defunding the police is beyond me. That's just complete insanity and I don't know why the Democrats are pandering to a fringe of a fringe who are demanding that. At the same time, during the whole DNC, there was not one word of condemnation of the rioting and looting. Trump is far from perfect, but everything I stated above, combined with the Democrats' slide toward socialism, is why I will be voting Trump and why he should win in a landslide. Also, Biden is clearly going through Alzheimer's or dementia. I fully expect him to duck out on the debates, which is such a cheap, cowardly tactic. I'm sure I could come up with a bunch more, but I think that's enough for now.

  11. I'm curious how you are not voting for Biden based on that statement, but ARE voting for Trump after he said "‘We’re Going to Take the Firearms First and Then Go to Court’

"I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida; he had a lot of fires [and] they saw everything. To go to court would have taken a long time, so you could do exactly what you’re saying but take the guns first, go through due process second."

  12. it's a "socialism thing" i think Clemons is referring to. the "state" (better hope you're part of that group) owns every single thing. what do they call it, "nationalization". take from those that have and keep it all.

  13. What about Biden's platform is socialist in your view?

  14. Hey bean...I had to refresh my memory and you left out the best part of what President Trump was talking about...

"We can't wait and play games and nothing gets done," Trump said two weeks after a mass shooting that claimed 17 lives at a high school in Parkland, Fla.

Trump said he wants "one terrific bill" that can address better background checks, arming qualified teachers and school officials, increasing the age limit for certain gun purchases, and finding new ways to keep guns away from mentally ill people and others who should not have them.

There was a warning about the kid that did the killing and the school did nothing when they could have taken the gun earlier.

You must believe the "hands up don't shoot" story too eh?

I just listened to Slow Joe talk in a room with six people in it, reading a teleprompter and I have to be honest with you. After about maybe less than five minutes of Joe babbling with a mask on with nobody close to him..I looked at my wife and she looked back and we both started laughing..good luck my friend..

  18. New Green Deal for starters. Anything that cripples private business to give power to the state, really.

But I'd be able to give you a more specific answer if he didn't flip flop on every issue twice a day, at least tried to hide his corruption and didn't ooze hypocrisy from every pore.

  19. Still standing by my prediction that come Nov 3 it will be Hillary Clinton vs Donald Trump, with Trump dominating by a large margin. No offense intended but Joe Biden is a dotard. The clinical definition. He will be stricken by a 'health issue', probably Covid-19, before the first debate, or immediately after and have to drop out. Hillary will bravely and graciously 'take one for the team' and volunteer herself as replacement. Was it coincidence that both her and Kamala Harris had facelifts at the same time last month? Again, Joe is a dotard, he can not be trusted to simply read what is written for him. He goes off script too easily, and then no one knows what he will say, including him, until after he has already said it. He gets angry at the slightest challenges to his competence yet needs direction on where to look and walk, let alone what to say.
