  1. You need to be asking these questions elsewhere. This thread is strictly designed for strain reviews.

    Please & thank you.

    Strain: Fool's Gold
    Breeder: 710 Genetics
    Fem/Reg: Feminised
    Days of 12/12: 8 weeks
    Taste: Fruity and skunky
    Smell: Fruity, light, piney
Potency: High potency, heavy couch lock stone
    Yield: Average/high
Overall Quality: very good, I have cloned and grown this several times
    Setup: 600w HPS, soil
Problems: It runs low in nitrogen quite early. It seems to do better using vegging nutes for a few weeks in to 12/12

This plant was chosen by me because it flowers really early in the year so specifically good for growing outdoors. It also has a good covering of trichomes so great for making concentrates. It clones really fast even when the cuts have been taken from plants well in to flowering

    Lol
I chose the name GoldGrower because I think marijuana is massively valuable, like gold, "worth its weight in gold" sprang to mind

  8. I'm going to do this quick off the dome....
HSO 707 Headband - Very similar to their Amherst Sour D, but not quite as good IMO.
HSO Blue Dream.....had 5 moms and none were anything special. Was really disappointed.
HSO Bubba's Gift...if you can find the one good pheno it is great, but the others are not
HSO Amherst Sour D - One of my best strains....love everything about it.
HSO Chemdawg.....haven't seen a bad pheno yet. Amazing quality.
    Ken's Kush - complete trash
Critical Super Silver Haze - there is one pheno that is far and away the best one. I had it but lost it, gone through about 20 other ones and still can't find it. It used tobe my best strain....just decent now
Cheese Candy - pretty good great yields.
Obsession - mostly terrible phenos but again there is one in there that is awesome. Still have it going.
Afghani - I wouldn't wish this grow on my worst enemy. Looked like Mexican brick weed.
Afghan Kush (world of seeds) VERY powerful, probably highest THC strain I have. Good phenos but there are some average ones too in there.

Needless to say I am of the opinion now that most strains have that one pheno you are looking for that is far superior to the rest. I'm now buying 50 packs at a time and going to run that many to find that one. Going through this entire thread to find some new ones to try out!

Tall stretchy growth, but good yield. It took a long time to ripen but the high yield made it worth it and potency is pretty significant

Mine had a rough start and finished small with low yield. Not the strains fault so it could be a good yielder. I got an ounce from a very small plant so wasn't too bad

What's up to GC, and to joey fats? Good thread. Don't know why it hasn't had more views. I grew this Purple Paralysis from Cream Of The Crop Seeds quite a while back. It is still one of the best strains I have ever grown, and I have 30 years under my belt. The only grow info I could find on the web was either incomplete, or just showing pics, so I thought I would do a quick review.

    Strain: Purple Paralysis
Breeder: Cream Of The Crop Seeds
    Fem/Reg: Female
    Days 12/12: 53 Days(Yessss, 53!)
Taste: Mild Grape Hard Candy(Lollipop/Jolly Ranchers), Lemon, Pine
Smell: Slightly Grape-y, Slightly Skunky And Like A Slight Odd Sweet Smell
    Potency: 8/10 Surprisingly Strong
Yield: 10/10 Very Dense Buds And They Are Everywhere!
Overall Quality:10/10 This One Checks All Of The Boxes!
Setup: Cheap Ass Mars Hydro(330w actual) Only Aprox. 200w Working/400w HPS (Total 600w)
    Problems:
Only With LED. One Whole Panel Blew 1 Week Before Seedling Went In Tent
    Grower Experience: 30+

This was a super easy grow. Vegged for 6 weeks in 5gal bucket. I used amended coco exclusively. The amendments used were vermicompost, lime pellets, fish emulsion, Jobes slow release organic tomato food(OMRI), liquid kelp/fulvic/humic acid and silica. Dry amendments in medium, and watered with rain water only, mixed with the liquid amendments. Also, once per week watered with Heisenberg Tea. PPMs introduced @400 early to late veg, 600ppm late veg to early flower and 800ppm mid to late flower. I feed liquid additives at every watering, so constant feeding at moderate levels and I never need to break the 800ppm mark. I do adjust the additive amount of each to arrive at my ppms, depending on veg or flower cycle. I do my version of "mainlining". I leave bottom 4 nodes instead of the traditional 2. This is a way to cut veg time in half. Branches don't come out quite as uniform as regular 2 node mainlining, but close enough.

This strain is mostly sativa, but it is stoney as hell, like a good indica, but with a good under current of motivation pushing you to just get up and do something. Total from seed to chop was 95 days; 42 day veg, 53 day flower.

OK, enough talking......on with the pics!
