So today at 12:48am my daily driver, Kyle the pirate wine bottle bong a.k.a. Kyle passed away. and ya know what....? IT FUCKIN SUX! theres no fixin this lol. but he was my favoritest piece for almost a year now and he was also my first bong. i don't know why but i felt like sharing this for some reason. but i'm keeping a piece forever because the bottle he was made from has the perfect neck to turn to a glass finger slide for my guitar. so i got that from my broken bong so thats cool. and a cool pen cup from the bottom half. but yeah R.I.P. Kyle
Another bong bites the dust very sad. I would love to hear one of those statistics where every 86 minutes a glass pipe is broken or something. Yeah sorry to hear that Kyle has passed. And there really isnt much left to even post on this site other than what tonster said. it's time for something new! Also would like to see a picture of Kyle.
yeah if you gotta pic post that shit... just based on the name it sounded like a nice piece sorry about your bong. i've never broken one as of yet but i've broken quite a few sliders. and that alone sucks so i can imagine losing the whole piece
totally gimme a day or two to find my pics EDIT: i looked through part of my collection and i got these so far: and remember he was a cheesy homemade piece, sentimental value was kyles deal. and
is that a mouthpiece from a tuba or something?? i wouldn't have thought of that myself. whatd you use to cut the hole in the bottle? i can't really tell from the pics but did you buy a downstem and put it on or is that home made? haha sorry for all the questions dude but i just ordered some glass carving/cutting tools on friday and i'm stoked to make my first home made bong...that isn't made out of a plastic gatorade bottle your piece doesn't look bad at all, sentimental pieces are the best. last winter i bought a bowl that was around $120, real nice quality but i haven't used it in 6 months lol, been using a $20 cheapo bong. (my first one)
lol yeah the bowl is from a coronet, i tapped my way through the glass with a hammer and an old screwdriver to make my hole, and the tube was just a shitty permanent marker with no guts, but i did drill a ton of holes for diffusion. i got plenty of nice ones but he was part of a lot of memories.
