I am sick of looking at that dirty bastard. I am going to go out and buy some solvent...10% hydrochloric acid ought to do it. That will strip the resin right off, since the bong is glass I've got no problem. BAM!!
Just how are you disposing of it after running it through the bong....... This has got to be the worst idea ive heard in a while. No offense man, but think that shit out next time. 91% iso and epsom salt, ta daaaaah. If that wont do it go get some grunge off.
It's 10% hydrochloric acid,it's less acidic than stomach acid. I can just keep it in a beaker and reuse it. Bam thought out. Recycling...It's the future.
Bam it'll have resin inside of it and so no, you won't be reusing it. And alcohol is fast enough. For a bong total clean time with salt+alcohol is probably.....10-20 minutes max.
put some water in it, and mix some oil in as the THC resin which would be left in the bong, bonds to the oil, wash the oil down the sink and it will be as good as new.
I hate to be a jerk but, your really not that smart are you? I don't even want to get into how stupid of an idea that is and say this: Go to a pharmacy, and grab a bottle of 91% iso alcohol and some epson salt, it'll work fine. Or you can buy a bottle of 420, either will work.
This will work perfect in no time flat. Would never clean a bong any other way if you want it like new again... Its even how Marc Emery recommends bong cleaning Why would you ever want to smoke the resin out of a bong anyway? Thats pretty gross shit!
yeah i tried to use Hydro Chloric Acid once and it didn't work for shit. Use hot water and 91% iso alcohol
This is how I used to clean my old double perc to look new. 1. Plug off female opening on the piece. 2. Put a little dish soap (LIQUID) in the top chamber, and bottom. 3. Fill the top and bottom chamber with the hottest tap water you can get. Let it sit for about 30 minutes. 4. Clean out the tube with hot water. 5. Fill bottom and top chambers with salt. 6. Pour alcohol through the top of the piece and let it drain through. 7. Once this has happened, dump the alcohol into a bowl, and repour it through the top. 8. Once the salt/alcohol mix is in both percs, shake lightly to get rid of any excess crap. 9. Rinse. 10. Put in a drop or 2 of VERY strong smelling soap (I prefer lemon scent), rinse, done. Yes mine was time consuming but it cleaned it out like you wouldn't imagine and it smelt fantastic when I was done. If you pipe isn't perc'd this should only take about 15 minutes. If not less.

Everyone seems to think that hydrochloric acid will burn a hole through your bong, IT'S GLASS PEOPLE! Although it's not really necessary for most people, it is for me. I do my regular clean up with 91% iso alcohol and Epsom salt. I have VERY hard water where I live though, and the minerals in the water bind themselves to my bong. No matter how hard u scrub with iso it won't come off. I have had amazing success witha 20% hydrochloric acid solution ("the works" cleaner) it almost instantly dissolves the hard water buildup. You people are quite rude to the notion of hcl, don't hate, it is wonderful, as long as your bong is glass.
dude just use rubbing alcohol and table salt thats what everyone i know uses and it cleans bongs, pipes whatever like a charm.
