    So I attempted to use my new diomond tip bit on a junk bottle and it worked perfect, then I used it on the bottle that was really nice and just as it broke thrugh it shattered the glass in half...any tips on how to make sure I don't break my next glass?(it's a 2.5foot vase bong with really thin glass)

    are you using a dremel tool?
    you need to be applying water atleast every 30 seconds of drilling. or just keep your bottle in a pitcher of water dunking it intermittently. that will keep the glass cool and get rid of the fine powder that accrues.

    It was like a $7 bottle of wine, and I did the same and just drilled in the sink.
