I will be flying home this weekend for my fall break. I want to take my piece home with me but am unsure about flying with paraphernalia. I was planning on cleaning it beforehand (duh), but do not know if there are any other precautions I should take. Any tips or just facts on the matter?
Have somebody else call the airport and ask them what their stance on whatever you're bringing with you is. Either you risk going to jail or play it safe I guess.
1. Put your peice into a zip lock bag. 2. now, take another zip lock bag. fill it with peanut butter, n put the other zip lock bag with peice in it in the middle of the peanut butter, close it up. put it ina shampoo bottle.
I was imagining he had a bong, I'm high, And I'm thinking, god dammit, those are huge ass zip locks and shampoo bottles. not to mention shit tons of peanut butter.
If it has absolutely no resin on it, just hide it in your luggage somewhere. If you can, ship it to your place back home right before you leave so that you can intercept it before the parentals do.
I'd say clean it VERY well, and put it in your main luggage bag (not carry on). And for extra kudos, put it in a bag and label it medical device. lol
If you haven't smoked out of it yet and it's all clean (I hope it is!) Then you could just say it's for tobacco. Happened to me and I replied with that, they examined my bong and it was brand new. They put it back in my briefcase and let me go. =]
I cleaned a DD bowl and just put it in my suitcase..no questions asked. If its just a dry piece then I don't think you have anything to worry about as long as its clean. Also depends on the airport; I was flying out of Tallahassee airport which is the size of 1 runway. lol
As someone who has transported quite a few pieces, Id say be safe and just clean it (Hell Ive done it with pieces not cleaned). Just put it in a checked bag, to be honest I have had bags searched by TSA (random checked bag searches) and heard nothing of it, and my piece was fine.
To the people saying hide it in your underwear, they those full body scans now, I wouldn't recommend doing that. I would just mail it to myself, or just go without it for a little bit. I'm guessing your Thanksgiving break isn't longer than a week, can you really not use makeshift pieces or buy a cheap piece at the gas station and use that? It's only a week...just saying.
yea this, i could see if it was a bong, with epic percd hits of smoothness, but its just a pipe and anything can be made into a dry piece. IMHO just use a homemade peice for the time being. If its only a week or two though, anything over id bring my piece.
