This is the the first homemade bong I made, However, after stumbling upon the existence of diffusers and percolators i did some basic research. Once I had the general concept I tried my luck at giving it a shot, and heres how it turned out. Ive smoked out of numerous glass bongs and I'm well aware that this isn't anything close to a Roor but It still milks like an pro. ..It hits like an abusive stepfather, but damn if its not smooth. I was playing with the idea of adding some sort of homemade diffuser beads and I'm just curious as to how to go about doing so. Any ideas would be appreciated. For my second homemade piece, I decided to go with a bubbler and it came out a little something like this... I made it out of an old salt/pepper shaker and unfortunately the construction of the screw-on top failed miserably when I tried to add a carb. Never down and out I decided to salvage what I could and after repurposing the scrap leftover from the construction of my bong I gave my dear bubbler a second chance at life and I ended up with this. Now it hits better than before and it actually has a slide for a carb. Those are my first two homemade pieces and I'm more than happy with the finished product of both. (even though I plan to upgrade them to the fullest of my ability ;D) Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to take a video of them both later on today
I wrote the post from my phone and attached them from my library. I wonder why they don't show.... Let me try uploading them to photobucket
yea I like your work, looks decently clean too
Sorry, what exactly do you mean by clean as in not dirty? Lol
meaning that all the joints etc that you made are well executed. There is no excessive adhesives being used, or sloppy amounts of hot glue etc.
I like them. Probably some of the nicer ones I have seen, much more elegant than the greasy garage-tool redneck pipes I have made.

I actually don't use glue/adhesives in any homemade pieces that I make. I created my own simple method for waterproofing and making seams airtight, I'd be more than happy to show you. It's actually quite easy, and I designed it so that all of the seals are always the same size so every part can be mixed/matched to add or remove percs, slides and chambers to whatever I feel like smoking out of at the time
