Hi everybody. Still doing a lot of research so I'm confused as hell. I wanted to share my progress. These are about 5 weeks old. I was expecting a lot more height but its just kinda bushy. I did top them once. I feel like I should trim more but I am a little hesitant on what I should take off and when. It's part of the confusion I mentioned earlier. They're random ass seed from a bag of a glue strain of some sort.
For someone who is doing research, I would say you researched well. Great job! Keep at it and good luck!
Keep your lights on 18hrs and off 6hrs until they get bigger. I've had a strain that grew so slow compared to the rest I just knew something was wrong. But it blew up.11-18-20, 6th Grow. G-bomb
Figured I'd post an update. Haven't done much other than some nutes and water. I'm thinking I'll have to switch to flower this weekend. I can't have them too tall. I'm figuring 3x the height is the stretch to be safe.
I'm out of room! I wasn't expecting the width. Oh well. Switched light cycles yesterday. I did do some defoliation Saturday. I feel like I should do more but I'm not sure whats safe to take. I think I watched too many videos and confused myself.
How long after switching light cycles before I should be seeing the sex parts? I can't remember the exact name lol. All I see is a ton of new growth.
Usually by the 2-3 week you should start seeing a plant show it’s sex. Some will show sooner it all kinda depends on the strain. I’ve had some that were in veg being trained and started showing sex. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Funny you should say that. For Halloween one year I stuck a giant cucumber in my overalls and rubbed it on people (adult party) all night and my name tag was Pipe Stevens. Best costume ever. I had so much fun.
So we're about 10 days after switching light cycles. Sorry for the shotty pic. I was in a hurry to get it closed up for the night cycle.
Personally from experience I would back the scrog netting off until the 2nd or 3rd week after switch to flower. They can split themselves and the longer branches will spread easier for you filling in every gap tith a top maybe hopefully.
