sup GC, i cleaned my room and found a CRAP load of various items(dr.pepper bottles, water bottles, prescription pill bottle full os black sand [dont ask], and some old ipod buds) and decided to make my first bong/homemade. now i read the How-To threads, but my question is. . .HOW THE HELL DO you burn a hole just the right size for your down stem?! also i lack tape, can i melt the bottle together?
Patience really. Just start of with a small hole then work your way to the perfect fit. I'd suggest getting a grommet and maybe even a glass downstem and bowl while your at it. Shouldn't cost you more then thirty bucks.
yeah if you hold the bottle so its sideways and hold the flame about and inch away and keep it in one spot, you should see a hole start to form very fast (in the hot plastic) turn the lighter off and let the hole cool off and reharden then force your downstem in. It could take a few trys and it's not like your using bottles made of gold, so git er done
thanks guys, i'm gonna start over. and and is a pvc pipe (NOT the the big ass ones) to big? if so ill just use a pen or something. i don't want to make it to big. just big enuf to call it a final for advanced physics. +rep for all
