The microwave trick helps get moisture out but you can stop it clogging up so quickly if you put some paper towel or toilet paper in the mouth piece and switch out when its damp.
I like to make my own, lasts longer and is cheaper. Get a plastic water bottle, some dryer sheets, and some activated charcoal. Poke holes in the bottom of the bottle and line it with dryer sheets. Then put in some of the activated charcoal. Optional: put on another dryer sheet. It's janky but it's the same principal as a smoke buddy. Works like a charm. Activated charcoal can be found in the fish section as stores. It's used to have cleaner fish tanks.
