Didn’t make any sense to buy a $160 ash catcher for a $75 or $110 bong , but a smart buy as long as it doesn’t break . must be a glass shortage, like most everything Is sold out online … Maybe with more then one perc ? It’s less hot ? is tag even USA made ? Still look epic either way … maybe I shouldn’t worry about ash catchers til I can spend at least $50-75… cheapos prob break easily. Have you compared non perc bongs to regular models and ? With ash catcher ofc it’s smoother . Do beaker or straight tube filter the water better ?? No perc… I didn’t like hot water , even room temperature is better . Feels like a steamroller , but way better still .. and water ofc. I don’t use anything but bongs Tho as pipes.

Oh i mostly just use one spoon pipe.Ive got a 2 honeycomb unit thats more of an oil rig and a 6 honeycomb for flower. and ive got a triple bubbler thats more "artsy". They havent had water in them in years. Plus several more spoons. Ive owned many, many, many pieces but most of then ended up getting given away or whatever. I would say 99.5% of my smoking has been with maybe 3 different spoon pipes. Ive tried titanium nails (with and without domes), quartz bangers, etc. Always go back to the same pipe.
Spoon pipes smoother then bongs ?? Wow My bong advertisement said too small of a downstem needed way off .. i need 5” not 4” fail … Gotta add a extra 15 0z of water for that 1.5” difference .. Extremely smooth but beaker gets heavy with 30-40 oz of water or so in it ..
Yeah, that downstem on smokea largest size is 5”, I should had waited longer til I saw length of the 14mm one … can’t return it now .. $8 I’ll keep it incase another bong needs it in the future. Ruins the smoke when it’s overfilled with water .
I never said smoother. Spoons are just my preference. The shit I grow is beyond top shelf, weed stores only dream of having shit like this on their shelves. I dont need fancy pipes to make it "smoother"
Wish I had money and skills to grow that , lucky that’s spectacular best stuff I ever seen . Sucks I can’t find a 5.5” downstem on any sites with lower then $50 free shipping… would be cheaper to buy some 14mm bowls . And none of decent ash catchers are in stock on this or any other site , so I’ll be using just a bong without one for a while … I may not need one but I need a downstem 18>18mm the 14mm bowl it came with is a one hitter with a huge hole need screens to use it . Fancier downstems out of stock everywhere, I could try a 5” model tho 1/2” short beats 4” zzz..
K sucks they charge sales tax now , unlike lot of sites . Could be few weeks for shipping but definitely still cheap for stems !! Most other glass stuff is lower quality on there. 5.5” so hard to find !! Sure is a deeper beaker I’d like one with a fancier perk someday but regular should be fine for a while . Downstem perc probably doesn’t do much. Beaker bong supposed to be filled just above the holes in downstem ehh , 4” one made it so full of water hits didn’t work correctly . The straight one hits way harder , til I get that stem in 2 weeks .. I’ll probably use straight tube model til I get downstems , maybe can try beaker but tiny silicone bowl doesn’t hold enough.
So you went ahead and ordered those from the link? I think that's about as cheap as your gonna find them and like you said they are out of stock at a ton of sites.
Yes , so I can use same bowl peices as my 18.8mm instead of buying all new ones . Eventually find better ones, too. Weird every site says my bong came with a 4” not a 5.5” Mis labeling failure haha … Shame quality ash catchers cost too much or too hard to find , tons of knock offs and non borosilicate.. maybe a downstem perc will be enough, just gotta use the ice catcher too cool smoke . With water level lower the hits are pretty big just as big or larger then straight tube , slightly harder to clear but smoother with ice . For price of a ash catcher or two , cost same as a low /mid price bong … too, and very easy to break an ash catcher if it’s too cheaply made .
