So everybody knows how to make a little waterbottle bong or a light bulb vaporizer, but can someone give some ideas for some different tools? Don't get me wrong, smoking out of something you buy at your local shop is nice but I just like to try to invent things and I just can't think of anything at the moment
Get creative? all you need is a downstem and an airtight chamber and you can make pretty much anything i've made hookahs with bowlpeices for strictly weed. bubblers bongs bowls steamrollers its not complicated bro.
Take PVC pipe, drill hole into top, insert bowl into top, make sure it is air tight. You now have a steam roller. Congrats.
I always use Voss bottles to make homemades. Glue the top of two caps together and you can make removeable chambers each one with a different perc inside. I always found showerhead/tophat style percs the easiest using different irrigation fittings. I would drill a bunch of holes in them like they were gridded and then make kind of a reverse reduction as a splash guard. It always impressed people.

Some people just like to make mean comments. They used to have a SNL sketch "Nick Burns- Your company computer guy". Lots of people out there like that sadly. About pipes. You don't seem them much anymore but home made "chalice" pipes used to be pretty cool. The rastas just take a rubber hose, and lead it to a glass chamber. They are pretty neat. You can lay down on the couch and sit it on the floor. Take rips while laying down watching tv. If you use a 90 degree bracket on the bottom of your down stem, and attach another little pipe so its shaped like an "L", and drill lots of holes at the top of the down stem that is on the bottom , you can easily make like a inline/stemline type percolator. All you need is a bowl and 2 down stems, 90 degree bracket. A glass jar with a metal lid, a rubber hose, and attachment for it, and you are set.
