Diy smoke buddy

Bought some activated carbon online, had drier sheets, scotch tape, and a mini m&m container at home. Decided to throw this together for fun and testing purposes.

First I cut the end of the mini m&m tube off, and taped a drier sheet over the end. I then shoved another drier sheet into the tube from the other end. I then made a pouch of activated carbon by pouring the loose carbon onto a half drier sheet and folding it up. I then put that into the tube. Next, I was like fuck it and poured a bunch of loose activated carbon into the tube. To make sure it would be secure in there, I balled up another drier sheet and the other half of the one I used earlier and shoved em in there.

Gonna test it out tonight and give my results. I'm hoping for no/less smell, and no/less smoke.

 

thanks man ur right. i got everything for free except the carbon which was 3.79 on ebay and got to my house in like 3 days. And the thing about the smoke buddy is that although it is re-useable, it is considered disposable since it works for only like 300 hits which i have heard isnt even true... for less then $4 i got more activated carbon that would amount to like 10 smoke buddies' worth. Even if this doesn't work (which i really hope it does), it took about 6 minutes to make and put a $0.50 dent in my bank account.

 

just tested it out with my bubbler. it works pretty well, only sometimes though. on good exhales through the device, no smoke comes through at all! but on bad exhales on the device, most of the smoke goes through. i cant judge the smell but i doubt theres much. and there are usually like half good hits and half bad ones

it works decently and is def fine for like a tiny one but i think im gonna make another bigger one with more carbon like a soda bottle or soemthing
