  1. I like to think im a DIY expert i have perfected multiple good devices. In this thread i want you people to share ideas, blueprints, or even ask how to make a certain part or help with constructing a smoking device.

  2. Well, grommets are great help for good seals. Oh and diamond drill bits are a must for homemade glass bongs. And hot glue is your best friend.

  3. Hot glue is your fuck buddy. shit works so good. never heard of diamond drill bit but thanks

  4. Yep, it's the only way to get a good cut into anything glass safely.

Another tip, if you're using a paperclip to make holes in anything, just use a candle or your stove (if it's gas, like mine) to heat it. Saves your lighters for smoking.

  5. i have a DIY bong ill post pics soon. but i want to make one out of a med gatorade bottle and a pill bottle and inside the gatorade bottle is a nother pill bottle that works as a diffuser? ever seen anything like that?

  6. So basically you're running an inline to a perc of sorts. I have one similar, but I'm too lazy to put up pics. It works pretty well, just make sure there's enough airflow.

Also: Don't make homemades too big, they tend to be pretty hard to clear in one smooth breath at that point.

  7. i have yet to make that gatorade one but i have a huge water bong and it never gets milky... do you know why? are my bowls just too small

  8. Well if it's huge then yeah, most likely. Are you getting a bunch of smoke though? Because if you just aren't getting much smoke you might just have an airflow issue. Sometimes homemade stems don't give the best airflow with a glass slide, I've found.

  9. , The pinnacle of home made bongs
this is what im going to do soon.

its not an airflow problem i can hardly blow out and water will fly out the stem my bowls arent big at all and i hardly get hits... assuming bowl size is the problem

  10. Then yeah it's the bowl size.

  11. alright thanks. check out that link and tell me what you think

  12. Mine is set up a bit like that, minus the precooler. Hit's soooo smooth for a damn homemade bong. Really is a great design. I need to get my hands on another small glass downstem...

  13. precooler and ash catcher the same thing?

  14. ever blow weed out of the bowl with a gb well take that bottom part of the soda bottle you cut on and make a while in it and bam you got a tray catch dont use old scizzors to make it tho i just broke the blade doing that i dunna what type of plastic they use but the bottom of those bottles are strong as fuck just thought i would share this information before i forgot it

  15. Thank you for contributing.

  16. thank you for the thank you

  17. Haha i saw this the first time if you know what i mean. Subbed.

Grommets are good for seals --anyone here watch Soundrone on yourtube?

The first thing i made that got me high was a Zebra pen one hitter. The pens are 100% steel so pretty safe in comparison to a soda can pipe or any shit like that. Also good for downstems.

  18. I have 3 questions:
    1) what could i make the bowl and stem out of ( the more discreet and easy to clean the better)
    2) what material for the bowl/downstem
    3) would iso+salt clean my empty bottle and downstem/bowl?

  19. 1) A pen tube and a socket is your easiest way to make a bowl/downstem combo.

    2) same as above.

    3) Yes it would.

I would recommend at least buying a glass slide to use though, it makes the taste a whole bunch better even if you're using a pen tube as a downstem.

The best pens to use are the metal ones, I think they're called Zebra pens but I don't know.

Diffusing the stem makes it hit a ton better as well. With a plastic pen tube, you can do this by heating up a paper clip (with a lighter, candle , gas stove, etc) until it's red hot, and then poking it through the stem to make holes.

  20. Could I make a bowl out of sheet copper?

I have left over pieces of copper sheets that I don't need and wanted to know if it would be safe to use the copper?
