ok so im pretty new to smoking. and i have a crappy pipe i bought off a friend and he didnt give me the bowl!? but i rigged it so i can use it but i really wanna smoke from a bong and i dont really have a way to buy one any time too soon so i tried to make one tell me what yall think and if you think it would work?? its a metal bottle half of a water bottle a wrench thing with a black&mild tip in it kinda hoping to use as a filter so the bud doesnt fall through the whole. and a kazzoo (sp) for a mouth piece.... ive never even used a bong so im not too sure what im doing. tips? is it good or bad?

haha i dont think so because i had to put duct tape over the little whole at the top but i was thinking; a kazoo would also be a quick pipe... just put the weed in the opening at the top and block one of the ends?
That will work as long as its air tight and just watch out that you do not melt the plastic from the black and mild filter because that wont be good to inhale.
That is a bong, although they vary in shape, a bong is generally characterized by a vertical wide tube for the mouth piece and a detachable bowl where the bud is placed. But as long as you can smoke out of it, who cares?
You have the right idea. If it works, it works I suppose, but usually ghetto bongs made of water bottles are more like Imageshack - metavoid6hs.jpg that. How exactly are you going to use the bong you made? Load the weed in the top hole in the kazoo, then suck through the socket on top? If so I don't see why you'd need a socket. If you use the search function and look for "Home made bong" you should find a few ghetto water bottle bongs that you can use for reference. Edit: Okay I reread the OP's post... Kazoo as the mouth piece. I'm totally lost as to how that would work. But shit, if it does, more power to you.

On a more germane note, You have not created a bong. The problem is that the kazoo needs to be on some sort of incline going into the bottle. If the kazoo/downstem is paralell with the ground, then the smoke won't go through the water,
