The glass is warrantied so you're really just paying for the metal. It's extremely expensive for what it is and even cheaper now that I know the glass is from China. Now this thing is a novelty. Once that newness and novelty wears off, or the glass breaks it's in the closet to collect dust for the next 10 years....
you Litteraly eased my mind with this post. Yep there manufactured in China anyway so I think your right and it’s legit. Funny thing two I own the V1 of the bong and I bought this one cus the metal peace the mason jar screws into leaks water now, had no idea it had a 10 year warranty on it. Oh well , now I have 2 lol.
When I began buying glass for my lab I bought Chinese beakers and flasks. 6 months later they had all been replaced by Pyrex. The Chinese chemistry glassware was lightweight and fragile. Just saying.
If it's a name brand product made in another country besides China and Taiwan ROC and the product is coming out China then the product is fake... China has a 17 percent import tax. It's not economically feasible to import any product and try to retail it when you have add a extra 17% to the price then ship it half way around world .
