i was gonna do something like that but never got around to it the light change is from a rotating piece of colored film above a small light
if you click into youtube to see the description of the video, i put how the color changes in there. and yes there is a tiny air pump at the bottom to make the little bubbles. it also has little fishys floatin around in there, fake ones of course haha and some transparent red beads that float around too. it doesnt rip slow, i did it slowly for the vid. the ash catcher is a 2 piece 6 arm perc. i can pull the perc out of the chamber, its pretty sweet for when i have to clean it.
It's convenient for cleaning, but the A/C drags a shit ton. My buddy has the same one, and we ditched it after the first bowl and it's sat on his shelf since. I'm glad it's working for you, but combined with the splash-over and the huge amounts of drag it added to his straight, we said fuck it.
ya if you check my vids i dont use it often, i only do it for the videos cuz it is a cool piece. it doesnt splash up when milking it, and if i use it on my zong where i rip it fast, ill usually just pull the whole a/c off instead of just pulling the bowl. that particular vid was the first time i put the a/c on that contraption, it was a last minute idea so i rolled with it. on my straight tube it adds tons of drag since i already have 3 percs, but ya it spends most its time on the shelf. for 20 bucks, i had to have it at the time and it matched one of my bongs that broke recently.
Why would you completely murder a straight tube by adding 3 percs? That's just asking for drag already. I'm assuming you dont have a ToRo, SG, or RooR, otherwise you wouldn't be using home-mades.
