So i made a bong out of a small bottle and i didnt want to burn my self so i added a mouthpiece but its made out of a pen tube and i was wonderin if the smoke is still hot enough to release chemicals. Edit- the top part is the pen tube

And i do have papers they just waste a lot of weed.
Ah I see. Hmm only one way to find out. If its going through water filtration before entering the pen tube, it should be okay.
you can go to a hardware store and look for metal tubes/pipes, and connect it to your mouthpiece (i use a socket), i used to use pen and its worth it to save your lungs and get metal or glass
Try googling "Plastic vaporisation fumes" or "fumes for heating plastic" something along those lines??
if the pen is where i think it is then you'll be fine the only problem is that it will get super resinated and make your smoke taste like shit even if you try to clean it. BTW, don't scrape resin off of plastic. ever. don't do it.
Generally just not a good idea...even if you're not inhaling plastic fumes theres always remnants of ink, factory oils already present on the casing from machinery, other people's hands Either way its not good...and metals almost worse (almost) Most pipe metal is aluminum based and releases aluminum oxides when heated...an apple with a joint sticking out of it is healthier than that...Save up and get some nice glass
