I notice the indica strains are usually light and golden in color, and as it is more sativa the color turns to darker. Do you notice this?
The differences start with the shape of the plants actually often have shorter, fatter leaves and dark, dense buds is what I personally have encountered.
No. Light concentrates are earlier harvested uncured plants. Darker concentrates are later harvested and or partially/fully cured. Early harvest = stoney/heady. Later harvest = sedated. Just about everything is a hybrid these days.
With my bho. As soon as the buds have started curing I blast and get golden. If I blast old dry stuff the oil is dark. If I blast wet material I get a small yeild of buttery looking dabs that sizzle, snap crackle and pop in my eye.

My dab rig had some cream coloured crystal growth. May have being calcium I don't know. I poured cyco ph down in there and shook it up. The crystals reacted with the ph down and fizzed up. The rig went back to looking new and I just use %95 alcohol to clean it now.
this ph stuff is interesting. what is its purpose? id loke to know if o can change the ph within bong to make hits even smoother!
