I have a clippers lighter and it lasted me a week. They are expensive and the only use I have for it is the flint which I pack my joints tighter with. I got 6 for a £ and they last longer.
I'm the same as you! I find the flints fall out quite easily but they are pretty good for tapping down a joint. Unless you have a Ford key - they are the best joint tapper downerer.

I smoke every day and I had a clipper last over a month. You don't know how to take care of a lighter apparently.
Give it a nice home. Don't just throw it in your draw or your cars door pocket. keep it safe, keep it close.
Clippers are great, mine has lasted for ages. It's still got a big flame and they are so easy to light stuff with, especially in the wind. Step your lighter game up son
That's why they're refillable and you can replace the flint as well. Buy a clipper and a can of compressed lighter gas, it'll last you ages. I've got clippers lying around that I've had for years.

My problem with Clippers isn't their performance, it's their fucking saw-like wheel. That shit hurts my thumbs man, especially on a cold windy day up here in Canada ya won't catch me fuckin with that...
Dude I've had my clipper for fucking ages, they're so much better than average lighters. I find that the flint only breaks if you sit there playing with it by spinning the wheel, otherwise there's nothing wrong with them. Plus they're more comfortable and come with a pokey.
clippers expensive? died in a week wat? my lhs was selling em for a buck a piece, i grabbed two, one died and i lost it, and the other one is still goin strong. I bought them at least 5 months ago
You know in 2022 I fully agree with this. I've had 2 in the last couple months that I started having problems with a week after I bought them.. the current one sputters gas and hardly lights at a week old. Clipper is complete trash. I say that as one who smoke multiple times a day. Lighter gets used and put on our counter by the bathroom mirror.
I disagree it’s the sellers of these lighters that suck . Edit * new lighters are fine just seller ripped me off I should had returned them $23 down the drain had 3 missing lighters. My new clippers mostly work fine although one was a dud, huge flame on a few of them . I’ve got a few previous generation ones that work so well I’m considering buying replacement flints .. not sure who threw away the rest of mine they were refilled I have a few had 8.
