Hi everyone, I am currently in the process of cleaning this dirty thang. It literally had like a mineral like buildup inside the pipe. It almost looked like little rocks were attached to the inner wall of this thing's bubbler. I took a picture but you cant really see the inside of the bong as the outside is so cloudy. Usually what i do is i smoke out of it and then just leave it under the sink until i use it again, When i do use it again i put it into the tub and turn on hottest water and let it get all the major gunk out and that's it. I might add a little dish soap to the bong to aid in gunk removal. I don't think it has been cleaned for maybe 1 year or more. Don't ask me why i took so long, anyways i let this thing soak in 91% iso and salt for maybe a day 1 1/2 and i would occasionally shake it every once in awhile as well. The iso got rid of 95% of everything. There is this brown film on my piece that is really trouble. If i had one of those bong brushes it would make it a lot easier. I have been letting it soak in mean green concentrate (SIMPLE GREEN CLONE) for a few hours but it's still not coming off. My question is if i let this soak for a few days will it go away naturally? I don't have an answer to your question, and I'm sure you probably know this already but, if you change the water once a day and give it a rinse with alcohol and salt once every week or two, you will keep the piece looking literally brand new. good luck edit: I personally would NOT use WD-40. (Iso and Salt has always worked for me)

If i remember i bought it at wild bills for like 75-100 dollars. Btw this forum was made for stoners lol, no bs mod has to approve posts, no 10 post limit till you can post a thread for new members. No restrictions. I like this forum already. I definitely will not let it get this bad again. I think i waited so long because i used to smoke with my buds when it was dirty so i almost didn't want to clean the memories weird yes. I also knew it would be a several day process of soaking it. DON'T EVER LET YOUR PIECE GET THIS DIRTY. I will take jkill's advice.
There are mods on here though dude lol they make sure the spammers/ people selling drugs ect get taken care of lol
Yea that is fine but i notice on a lot of other forums the mods run the forum like nazi germany and then they claim, they act like that to deter spam. It's more of a way for them to feel powerful by controlling rather than spam.
No. water is free. and Rubbing alcohol/salt is cheap as fuck. and if you do it once a week you will have to use next to no alcohol at all.
Acetone! Go to a hardware store and purchase a small thing of acetone! It will clean that thing like no other. I only use it for deep cleans like this and then I prefer just maintaining and cleaning it once a week so it doesn't get that bad again!
