Let's say you go by your local river, dug up some dirt and mud and you put them in buckets and you fill them with water and filter the clay with a pillow case and then make a bong from that clay you made, can you clean the inside sufficiently if you glaze it? Any pics?? I’m not sure what’s the glAze is made of and or what cleaning product would help. Gotta be something
1: your Mom will be pissed with the pillow case ruined 2: you don't - never glaze the inside of clay wear 3: the river mud is way too contaminated, don't forget you gotta heat the clay to about 700C thats no bbq
I’d like too see pics, I don’t see how you could build a clay bong ..:: .. gotta be a master clay maker. Cleaning it Is another issue , I’m clueless how.
Why shouldn't I glaze the inside of clay wear? Sent from my SM-G781U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
this depends on how you glaze, best is spray IMO, worst is dipping as the layers are so uneven, the deal being uneven glaze narrows the desired holes, painting inside is the same unless it something easy like a cereal bowl once experienced some you could dilute the glaze, and re fire twice but few do this. Ive seen many potters who a great potters but come to glaze ...not a chance, seems an art work in itself rather than a tag on to pottery good luck
Instead of worrying about the dangers of smoking out of literal fucking mud you could simply exchange money for a glass bong
