Hello Everyone, I have been struggling with this for a while now and am not to sure why Glass Artist have chosen to make this style piece now a days but they make it and I have been confused ever since! lol What im struggling on is whether or not i am supposed to put water in the bottom chamber right below where the perculator is or just the top chamber where the perculator is.. Or who knows possibly even both lol! I have attached two videos below showing what i am talking about so please any information will help! Heres links to the two different water levels I am struggling with so you have a better idea of what im saying: video_image video_image
I dont use this kind of glass, beaker for life. I can just pass on some knowledge I’ve picked up. Put some water in the down stem, and then pull, add a little more and pull. Keep doing that until it fills the chamber levels and feels like it’s pulling how you want. other than that I would ask when buying.
Yeah I hate these things.. I have had one in the past and I absolutely hated it because the airflow just never felt right.. I think I might sell it because its an absolutely stunning piece but can never figure it out..
Looks epic like a table top model , it’s only overfilled if you get splash back or if the perc isn’t working optimal. Lotta volume ehh?. like a bubble or something in the middle . Custom made ?
I generally don’t like any bong that has a massive chamber that fills with smoke, and yours looks like it takes a real lung champ to rip a full clean bowl off. But it’s all personal preference, and some bongs just hit different haha
Do percs even help make larger volume models hit easier ? Or harder .. It’s pretty fast to notice if a perc has too much / little water , won’t hit correct.
Yea for sure, your drinking it when theirs too much haha I don’t know if those percs make it easier or harder, I know the idea is to just creat more surface area and cool the smoke down more. I’ve always felt it’s like sucking through a sponge. I just like beakers with pretty small stems and fill them up as high as I can, nice clean snappy rip. Start slow finish fast haha but I think it’s really to each their own
