Bud Ripening Question

  1. Hey all,

I have two cherry kush/pie plants that are pretty much ready for harvest.... I’ve been keeping an eye on the main cola and it appears to need more time to ripen up meanwhile I was startled to see some of the other more peripheral areas have a few amber trichomes, and I haven’t even flushed yet. What should I do to preserve max thc?

Should I start harvesting a bit at a time? Is that even possible? Any other ideas?

  2. Pictures are always helpful. If you feel it needs longer it likely does. Rarely do we ever harvest late but the same can not be said for harvesting early. When all, or most, pistils have darkened and receded into the buds you are likely close. If you have a loop check the tricombs ON THE BUDS. Tricombs on the sugar leaves will mature much faster than on the buds. Waiting will test your paitence but you will be rewarded in better end product; more smell, potency, and flavor
