Hits like a beautiful gong pipe. So smooth whith ice and everything. Made it using this guide, which I made in 2007 on old account. Gonna post pictures of it tomorrow. Thought it is such a great way to smoke for cheap at home. Gonna throw a quick tip in, make the tube you inhale from protrude into the jar as little as possible to maximize smoke volume space thing. Materials needed: Hammer Screw Driver Jar Door stop A straw/platic tubing (if you have any) A glue gun (optional but reccomended) 5 minutes of your time 1.First take a jar of your choice, rinse in warm soapy water to clean it. 2.Take a rather large screwdriver (phillips head reccomended) and using a hammer punch 2 holes in the top. You might want to use 2 different sized screw drivers depending on your choice of tubing. 3. Insert your straw into 1 hole and the door stop into the other. -skip if you do not have a glue gun or instead replace with clay/bubble gum- 4. Apply glue around the side of the base of the straw and whatever part of the doorstop protrudes from the lid. 5. After glue has dried unscrew lid and glue the underside. -skip- 6.Looks like you are finished! Advantages to this bubbler: cheap as hell, you can put ice in it if you wish, unlike most bubblers. Also, if you want punch a 3rd hole for a carb. Tadah! Your bubbler is done
Thanks bro! I packed a bowl of kief and weed that was really finely ground, pulled it all in one hit. Barely had an urge to cough. Though it was harsher than most other hits I had. Cools the smoke so nice. <3

I used the same exact design, except I used a bic pen tube for the downstem of the bowl and a ratchet fitting for the bowl. Pros: while hitting it I can take the ratchet off like a slide/carb. Cons: I HAVE to take the bowl off otherwise the pen very slightly starts to melt. What did you use for the bowl again? You said door stop but I think I'm misunderstanding that. :/
Ahah I thought I was the only one that used door stops as bowls. I used to use a socket and a pen but found out it was pretty bad for u.
Haha that's awesome, I really like the concept of filling the jar with ice, but wouldn't this be a dry piece and not a bubbler? I like the idea of a doorstop as a bowl, but it's not long enough to go down the jar into the water :/
IMO the downstem should be a bit longer so you can get a bigger hit. i would go with only 1cm of water.
The one I made yesterday Is a lot smaller of a jar so the doorstop is near the bottom. Hits perfectly
I just made one just like that, except i used a socket and this metal rod. and a little screw-on mason jar. paintball O-rings work great to make seals. i love it, seems very legit. thanks for the inspiration!
Yeah I'd recommend lengthening that downstem a bit, it's a waste if you can't use all that chamber for nothing. As for the ice, just drop a few cubes in and then pour the water in around it. Crushed ice would be best, think diffusion marbles
