Hey all, Harvest shots! Not crazy excited about this round, if I’m being honest it needed another week, but veg is getting overgrown and needs to be transplanted... The blumats failing at day 30 really made a noticeable difference in my harvest. Trichs were visibly smaller, and buds weren’t as plump. It’s safe to say that water was my limiting factor this round! Here’s to the process!!
Hey all, With the wife gone was able to relax and enjoy a harvest this time rather than try and hurry through it... Got everything broken down and in freezer bags. Was really nice to have a vacuum sealer this time and not have to use zip lock freezer bags!! What top colas I’m keeping this round for the wife and the cancer patient I help. My summer round really never gets my full attention and gets turned into a hash round...I’m really excited for next rounds potential, and then January’s round when it will be a hunt for new cultivars! Here’s to the process!!
Congrats on the harvest and happy hashing, Brodman! That's a topic I would love to learn more about. What is your process for that material in the freezer? I have about a gallon ziplock bag of trim from my recent harvest that I'm not sure what to do with. Probably better suited for edibles or something I wager.
Truth be told I’m not the best/most knowledgeable hash maker...Temperature is really really important. I’m talking less than 50 degrees! And the more ice the better!! As always, the better the product the better the end product... I have back issues so I use a washing machine, rather than the “paddle tech” that is popular today...maybe we’ll get lucky and someone will see this and have some hints for us! Thank you! Lol, I call it my CannaCave. I’m a really lucky man the wife loves me and knew I needed a chill out zone.
Hey all, Harvest and flip always takes a lot out of me, and after I usually like to veg out and enjoy the fruits of my labor! Got everything flipped over and reamended. Then let it cycle for 48 hours, and added the ladies! Got the trellis hoooked up about a week ago. They’ve been vegging fo the last two weeks and I’m about to flip in the next 3 days!! Here’s to the process!!
Hey all, I’ve always struggled with bringing small plants into flower and things never really filling in the canopy... This round I switched from 1 gallon plastic veg pots to 3 gallon fabric pots and things are looking much better now! The plant on the upper left and bottom are from 3 gallon pots, and the plant on the top right is from a 1 gallon! Here’s to the process!!
Hey all, Happy Halloweed!! I make a lot of edibles and I’ve alway struggled with inconsistent butter. It’s always been on that extremely dark green look, and I’ve always longed for that gourmet light green ganja butter! I stumbled upon diamond delight edibles YouTube channel and it’s really been game changing! Here’s how to fully emulsify your ganja butter! It takes the dark green material and really turns it into butter, not just thc infused oil. Get your ganja butter melted. Put it in the freezer for about 3 minutes and let the sides harden, but the middle stays soft. Then beat, egg beater, handheld, whisk, doesn’t really matter..use a spatula to get the sides, and bring it back to the middle. About 1/2 done... After about 30 minutes of freezer and beating this is what you’re left with! Actual butter. Here’s to the process!!
