I would had thrown it out if the crack had gotten into the base of the bong , not just the outside of the base . I’d rather have a Multi perc model with an ice catcher anyways , could be a while til I get anything fancy like that tho . I’d take no percs over a impossible to clean bong tho … like mine. Even tho the inside is undamaged the smoke often gets too hot in this model , honeycomb failed … to cool smoke enough. Too harsh if it’s a bigger hit .. wish I’d had gotten the tree perc model I saw.
What is so nasty about it? it has a few small specks of resin. or are you talking about the glued together base? I wouldn't even worry about getting them cleaned out. It's going to be full of resin in 3-4 bong loads anyway.
It’s the duct tape cocoon it was in ; made the old glue like start to fail , and get gross looking . Bad time to be low in money, not sure what types of non standing jobs are .. my left ear always in pain probably can’t handle a telephone type job .. disability isn’t enough to survive on my parents keep trying to get me , to get it but kept getting denied .. I don’t want it anyways $800 a month or less … not enough to survive unless you live in a third world country. It’s bs, I’m shocked this bong hasn’t broken yet besides the sides of the baseplate not the center which is untouched. It’s bounced off concrete once and the steel sink lightly no damage . The base is ugly af yes .. def want to replace it eventually.
Is epson salt not abrasive enough,,?? I’ll try kosher next , can see a water mark or dirt very tiny showing up . Not getting cleaned 100% What’s best salt in order. ?? Tried 710 cleaner also but it’s useless , doesn’t remove it .
I guess once you use glass 95% is about as clean as it’s going to get . Haha yeah fail it tastes fine after cleaning it …: wash it out with dawn after .. Percs probably get worn down too .. or grime stained in eventually. How clean do you manage to get your stuff ? Do you use iso also ? I can’t allow grime to build up like I used to . Then try n wash it off.. impossible
I use 710 cleaner. Ive never had a piece that i couldnt get as clean as it was when it was new. Ive also never got a bong anywhere near as dirty as yours obviously was. I really dont even use water pipes any more. they sit in the closet and come out for maybe new years or my birthday. I think you have defects in the glass that are holding the resin or something but either way its clean enough man.
I must have bad luck get the defective gear that wont clean all the way . What do you use edibles or joints ? Or something.. Are multi perc bongs really way better then non perc ones ? Or just easier to smoke
Mostly a glass spoon pipe. I have a 6 honeycomb perc bong like yours and a 2 honeycomb one. Bigger hits off the bigger bong are more tolerable. My weed tastes amazing out of a pipe though, the bong takes away from the taste. Joints sometimes too. I used to have a very expensive US Tubes beaker with no percs. It was good too. Had a good showerhead downstem so lots of bubbles. Its bongs with a shit downstem that dont make any bubbles that are truly terrible. I also have an artsy triple bubbler. But i chose my spoon 99% of the time. And im really picky about my spoon pipes too. I bet ive owned 50 or more and never broke one. Gave most of them away.
Must be quality spoons , I have a hard time hitting those things . Carb hole is a little tougher the a slide , seems the larger the bong the less flavor . The only reason people buy dab rigs and stuff .. steamroller is like a big pipe no water though like a bong or bubbler. Hard to find a downstem that’s lacking a perc but dirt cheap stuff could have that .. or just terrible glass. Regular 6 slit ones I’ve used , not tried a special perc like a showerhead but wanted to . That Amg has built in downstem without a Perc In it , I prefer beaker bongs for bigger rips but they hit slower hard to pull . Straight tube win for being allot easier to clear , maybe when I try a beaker w perc possibly more even or Better , Non perc harder to clear . I see why you prefer pipe easier to clean , I just prefer water pipe .
Idk man spoons really aint rocket science. Gotta be willing to try a few to figure out what works for you. But ive never really had a real issue with any of them. Just nit-picky.
I've purchased 10 gallons of that hand sanitizer. It is great at cleaning trimming shears, your hands after handling bud, bongs, pipes, and anything else that needs those sticky things mopped up and is much cheaper than buying alcohol. They are practically giving it away.
Im sure it has been said, but I just soak my glass in hot water on the stove. I put a silicone pad on the bottom of the pot and heat away. Everything just washes off. Easy peasy
smart choice! Hmm didn’t think of that , isopropyl seems to work the best for me . Hot water won’t get resins stains off . Regardless of soap is used or not.. boiling water works in between the two , slightly better than hot Fossett water. I won’t risk cooking a 14-16” bong on a Stove , may work for ones with a thicker base . Glass is weaker then a pan .. I’ll use the sink and boil water separately if I use it , rarely . I use isopropyl rubbing alcohol. 71 and now 91%. Will any specialty cleaners get the resin out that isopropyl doesn’t? Hand sanitizer is definitely cheaper , and very similar. Is it easy to use and or reusable also? I wouldn’t expect it to get stains out iso wouldn’t .

normally that should work. let it sit a little longer and shake it a little more, i have a honeycomb perc and a tree and they both get cleaned fine, you just got to fully submerge it and let it sit
I may neeed grunge off to clean the honeycomb 100% won’t happen til I find a job , car isn’t working either so not sure when I’ll be able to work somewhere can’t do Uber eats delivery or anything broken car exhaust. If anything an ash catcher would solve my issues . The non perc bong is smoother but hits are larger , …. I’ve not tried a spoon pipe a steamroller looks like a pipe with no water .. maybe bubblers are closer to bongs , but smaller so taste better? 91% iso won’t clean it more then 97% some stains just won’t come out , that’s pretty good 97%… It’s definitely a fake Amg bong the real ones all have ice catchers . Still looks 5mm thick probably not 7mm I was told … No glue ever touched the base or interior of the bong the baseplate fell off on its own . It’s not a great peice anyways,
