Industrial strength ISO 99% is available on Amazon.. Pour it in and let it soak for 12 hours with an occasional hard shake... After soaking for a dozen hours then add a good amount of salt and shake hard. Save alcohol in a Tupperware for clean bowls after. Then run piping hot water thru. Hopefully that works. I've had something similar happened from a lack cleaning. I actually chiseled it off the hard resin with a dab tool. You have a different situation where a dab tool will never reach, so soaking it will be key. Good luck!

It used to work but can’t find 91% anymore locally, maybe order it online but if it doesn’t work I’ll have to spend even more cash for another cleaner .
Should've just used oxy-clean. Considering the base of that looks to be held together with tape I would just toss the whole thing. The amount you will have spent on cleaners you could've gotten a decent piece.
The bong itself isn’t damaged that’s the bass plate which is separate , your saying oxy clean is cheapest option? 420 cleaner prob won’t work if 710 didn’t right ? it doesn’t need the tape that’s just on there because it’s waterproof somehow so why remove it risk damage . Maybe Amg is a bad brand or it’s a fake ? My closest Smoke shop is Quansett hut and doesn’t look like they have anything even as good as the one that I’m using. The thicker cheap ones on grascity have no percs , I’m worried my mom would get angry to order something online but can’t get 7-9mm easily local . You can ’t taste the resin build up at all but the honeycomb perc doesn’t cool down smoke enough, no ice catcher . Do non perc beakers hit smooth ? Or perc needed . Down stem perc help ?
Rip up tiny pieces of scotchbrit and drop them in the hole before you start shaking it with your choice of cleaner. I switched to a beaker this year after meticulously cleaning percs for years. A tiny piece of scotchbrit and dishwasher detergent is all I need now.

I have no salt stain.. I rinse it real good after and refill with distilled water.. . That's a good deal for a gallon.. It'll last you a year. Prices always change, especially last year
I don’t see a salt stain on mine just wondering if it can scratch thick 7mm glass or not ? So 91 or 99% iso is probably best choice ? Followed by grunge or kriptonite clear ?? K 710 cleaner seems useless, maybe for newer glass stuff .
Boiling water would had broken it if the bong itself was damaged, it’s the base plate which must had been defective broke really easily when I got it . Best stuff sold out on grass city maybe I’ll wait for a bigger sale or save money for a different site … The issue is it won’t clean 100% it’s certainly not broke….

Why do you have the base taped with electrical tape? Or at least that's what it looks like from your pictures.
Base cracked once but didn’t hurt the bong itself , I could remove the tape and it would hold up just it’s been waterproof enough hasn’t fallen offf . If I remove it I gotta use goo gone or something to remove the sticky tape residue off . Don’t think I got a sharp enough knife to cut it .
This thread is cracking me up. I HAD a very dirty bong yesterday lol. I tried to clean it with alcohol and it was barely scratching the surface. I then tried some alcohol and boiling water combos. Small improvements but not much. The bong has two Chambers and the top portion cleaned somewhat okay. The bottom half was much worse and nothing I tried would even make a dent. I had to step it up a notch lol. I'll admit this is not a recommended technique and I'm sure it could damage certain rigs. The one I have seemed sturdy so I threw caution into the wind. I put small gravel in it with alcohol!! It did clean though after about 30 minutes of strategic swirling rofl. Here are the results. Before After the first tries without gravel and only the top came somewhat clean. This is the gravel I used, it actually came from lowes. I wanted the sand but they didn't have any. This was the next size up so I tried it Rocks in my bong rofl! Oh man its working. Rinsed and added more alcohol. Bamb. Lol now i know the bottom is still black. It will come off but it was gonna take awhile. This will do for now. I clean the bottom soon.
