Glass/resin cleaners are not alcohol based. I dont know what they are made of but its way better at breaking down resin than alcohol could ever dream of being.
When you smoke too much and don’t clean your bong* 99% ISO, with salt. Or run your faucet with only hot water through the stem for 30 minutes. if that don’t work, buy a new bong and clean it regularly.
Once again get some proper resin cleaner. Throw away your piece or spend 12 dollars on cleaner. Seems like an easy decision to me.
You talking to me? Cause I was giving advice to the thread holder. Id rather just run hot water through the bong for thirty minutes than spend 12 bucks on cleaner I have to wait for a week for.. but like you said, sounds like an easy decision to me.
Is it like an super version of 420 cleaner ? Yeah regular rubbing alcohol probably won’t work , not 71%. Need specific cleaner then clean it every time which I started doing Too late !!! Isn’t iso supposed to dissolve the gunk but it isn’t working ?? Salt won’t help either hot water doesn’t help either ..
Your recommendation is if that doesnt work "buy a new bong". Da fuck kind of advice is that? Yeah a 12 dollar bottle of cleaner makes more sense.
I believe its a slightly better (or the same) as the 420 cleaner. Ive only used 710 so thats what i recommend because ive seen it work miracles first hand.
I don't understand the hesitation to purchase and use an actual bong cleaner meant for cleaning bongs and pipes.
I never read but have you tried soda crystals? Like a drain cleaner? Seal all but the big hole, Fill the bong full of eater and add the cleaner Sent by means of my Owl Archimedes
Youre probably gonna wanna soak it in the alcohol for a few days or atleast overnight, the longer the better
Need stronger iso 71% does not phase the gunk , odd that all the peice cleaned except under the perc..
Try 90% thats what I use. The salt is probably having a hard time reaching the area or thats where or builds up heavily
Was using Epson salt plenty got on the spot. But no effect cleaning it , does salt lower the 70% iso or weaken it? Looking for sources for 91% giant eagle didn’t have it . Maybe ask my mom to buy some at sams club . If that doesn’t work then 720 cleaner or 420 probably only option left , hot water does not effect it or heating up iso/ vinegar useless .
$10 seems affordable enough rather then wait til I get 91 iso , can use it just when regular iso won’t clean bong . I’ll try a 710 bottle 16 0z and eventually get the iso also .
710 cleaner isn’t doing anything does it gotta soak a longtime ? Should’ve gotten 420 not sure quansent hut takes returns …
Wish it worked , wonder if I should see if they take reruns for 420 cleaner instead unless this is useful for cleaning the bowl itself ?? Tho I’d guess iso is better for bowl cleaner
