So I’ve never seen anything like this before, I got this Olympic style bong a few months back off a friend and he warned me that it didn’t work before I bought it but I was curious. I bought it and the bong doesn’t work at all, when you suck all the water comes up and will go into your mouth if you don’t stop sucking , and the smoke doesn’t even get filtered in the water it just burns the weed and gets wasted. I’ve been using bongs a very long time and have never seen anything like thing and just want to get this bong to work. Any help would be appreciated. I added a photo of me simulating a toke through it and you can see the water almost going into my mouth
Take a flashlight and examine the down pipe/stem. There must be a crack in it so that it bypasses the bowl.
I think you’re right, I put my hand over the down stem over this little crack and it got a bit more suction but not enough. Is there any way to fix it?
But also, no water leaks out of the down stem as if there is no crack. And I can’t find anything except for a scratch I thought was a crack
I would just get a new bong. If you find the crack maybe you can put some sealant over it. But I don't think it would be worth it. Way back when we sealed our bong stems with bubble gum. You could do that. Call your bong the sticky icky.
