I think hes talking more about how you can get a non brand name bong with two percs that hits great for 200$ and you can get a Roor that doesn't even have an ice catch for the same price. I'm all for high end glass and i understand why its expensive i just wish it was cheaper cause i'm poor haha.
I made a bong out of a coke bottle, two feet of vinyl tubing and a metal mouth piece. Total cost: about 5 bucks. Gets me stoned as a mother, no doubt. It's called the King of France.
now your just talking out your ass, so you should just shut up. i spent 500 dollars on my 91 accord thats decked out in rust. that $500 has nearly been matched in my glass collection since i got the car. im no snob, i just love glass.
I agree. It's not until you actually own the bong that you learn the most about it. Higher quality glass is generally well-built (if it isn't, then you're getting ripped off). You will find this in Roors, US Tubes, Toro, illadelph, etc. This usually comes from quality control (not all these names have QC though). If you look at glass like ph(x) (I own a trinity along with my US tubes stemless nat), the lack of quality control is apparent if you were to see a line of them. The neck for example does not have the same angle. If you were to look at Roors on the other hand of the same model, you find much better consistency. This is what you pay for. You may get glass that has similar features as a Toro with a circ/disk-perc, but it doesn't mean that another person who gets the same glass as you will have a similar build in the percs, glass, joints, etc. These are the differences you pay for when buying high quality glass. The cost:benefit ratio may not be high in terms of getting high, because you can get equally as high with the same features in some china glass, but the c:b ratio is for sure on your side when it comes to build and quality. To me, a high comes from what bud you have and what you use to extract the thc from it. However, when it comes to getting glass, even though the high is a factor, the build quality is also a factor. You can throw a V12 into a modified Honda CRX body and make it go fucking fast, but the CRX body will never be as strong compared to that V12 being thrown into lets say, a BMW 330ci body. It's about the build.
just go to a head shop maybe not a big one thats known but just like a smaller one ex... im in AZ and at the corner of these 2 streets there is a this liqure and smoke shop and they have some pipes and bongs and im thinking bout picking up this double perc and nifty ash catcher all for about 110! legit as fuck check it out something like that
There are reasons that nicer things are more expensive. They're crafted better, made out of better materials, and the individuals creating these items usually share the same passion as I do. This is always true with glass, as the higher end things are art as well. Lately glass has destroyed my collecting budget, but I also have a tiny but growing watch collection, a few high end automatic knives, and a firearm collection I'm working on, though I only have a PS90 (turn 21 in August and then my pistol collection starts). None of the things were bought for their labels. I'm not a snob (far from it), I just enjoy collecting certain things. I can understand people that don't buy high end glass due to financial constraints, but by the time you have bought two cheaper tubes you could have grabbed something quality made by people that are passionate about their their product. Anyone that enjoys smoking will be blown away by a nice, quality made tube.
i dont think sobut that would be a nice feature, ill email roor about it. some of us can afford both nice glass and good bud. and if your in the USA dont tell me you cant make money, its to eazy, always open doors here.
