Hey I'm hoping someone can help me out. Out of nowhere the past month or so my bong just decided it wanted to start pulling really hard. Not only it's hard to clear but I feel like I'm not getting as much smoke as I normally would. It's clean, water levels look fine. Same as they always were when I bought it and never had any issues. Anyone have any other ideas of what it could be?? It's a zob.
You either need to properly clean the bowl/cone, or stop packing it in so tight. Those are the only two things that are going to add resistance. I suppose a particularly wet/sticky bud may come into play...so like the bits stick together and let less air through? If that's the case, try a pre-chop and leave it to air like that for a bit.
Everything is super clean, and I don't pack it to tight, it's after I pull the bowl and clear it it gives me a ton of resistance not when I'm lighting it. Just started doing this out if nowhere

yea, and your rolling tray in the background is covered in rez from picking it out of the stem. if your constantly sucking ash/bud into the stem frmo the bowl and then getting clogged up, thats just whats going to happen. Like i said, I glass screen will help keep shit out of the bong/stem or an ash catcher. clean your bong once a day. shouldnt be a problem really
It's an ashtray and that's from cleaning my bowl out often. I mean my downstem isnt that dirty. And like I said even after it's totally clean it will still do this after a couple hits
Make sure to check the Ph! And Ppm... all those bicontaminants could loosening then structural integrity of the glass, so as you pull, the glass expands and pulls too,hence the extra patronized smoke! Also keep a thermomt

Are there slits in the splash guard dome at the top? Are the clogged by chance? I just bought a bong last week and there were 2 of the 4 slits in the dome weren't even opened to begin with. Causing the other 2 slits to clog in 2 or 3 hits. Tried to Dr mine but ended up popping the top off the dome. Almost perfectly oddly enough. Front slit is open.
