Ok think about this really hard. How are you going to get MORE thc with an additional filter? Doesn't make sense. They mistook their information, what they meant to say was bong smoke had higher thc % in the smoke, but doesnt add to the actual amount of thc, its just filtering out more of the other chemicals faster than its filtering Thc. So .5 g's burnt without a waterfilter will give you more micro grams of THC than if you filtered the smoke, its just common sense. Now how about this fact, smoke actually doesnt like to stick to glass, but THC does. So since bongs have more surface area for glass more THC will stick to the side of your bong, which is why THC%'s will be dramatically reduced with the use of multiple percs. What exactly is the debate? That bongs will get you higher than pipes? Well you smoke more weed with bongs than pipes so you can't really compare them. Bongs will get that THC deep into your lungs all at once where pipes you'll take smaller shallower hits that burn away cilia and make you lungs fill with muccus so your next hit will absorb less THC. So for the debate, I think bongs are better.
by your logic, foxface, an acrylic bong will deliver more THC than a SG gridline or otherwise. that is something no glasshead will ever be convinced of. Ninja over at tokecity did some really long post one time about how its all about how much bud you smoke and how good the bud is, filtration just makes it easier to take in. also by your logic, bongwater would get you high. it doesn't; it makes you sick.
How? Acrylic has many more pores than glass does. I'm saying a small unfiltered pipe can deliver more thc than something thats inlined, triple perc'd and costs $2000 (althought marginally). If you're getting any higher from the bong it has nothing to do with the filter, its probobly a mix of a head rush from such a long process and the shot gun effect that can shoot smoke down to your undamaged cilia in your lungs. Would you like a little bit of proof?
