  6. Can’t seem to clean the bottom of my bong even with isopropyl/salt . IMG_9566.jpeg

  7. Alternative here - I don't smoke so often so I make homemade disposable bongs

with some gaffer tape, scissors, a plastic soda bottle and a tube from candies like this:

or if you have your own stem even easier, if you dont have a little filter then you can poke holes in aluminum foil with a toothpick and use that

takes literally 5 minutes to build, its fresh and clean every time, and can throw it away and make a new one whenever

edit: you can add your own flare to it by using different colored bottles or drawing little smileys on it with marker lmao

  8. What a good idea! I like a clean bong so a brand new one each time I smoke would be easy with your tech.

  9. rubbing alcohol and coarse salt Works fine but what are the best types of each ?! Or is it irrelevant. white vinegar and baking soda do not clean my bong at all it’s borosilicate.

  10. Pretty sure you're supposed to mix the vinegar and baking soda to create sodium acetate, I've heard of people spraying that on dirty fans and running them in a garbage bag to clean them. It's also what they use in rechargeable hand warmers.

As far as alcohol, use the strongest you can find, 91% should be easily acquired. Regarding salt, I prefer to use epsom salt.

  11. High proof ISO, and coarse salt. Cleaning isn't hard as it's a basic breaker bong.

As for the down stem into a bottle with ISO and salt. soak then shake.

  12. I found 91% at Sam’s Club
I tried a Gatorade bottle but know anything that works better?

  13. Alcohol soaks work, for smaller pieces like bowls and downstems good old fashioned pipe cleaners can help out. The alcohol loosens crap up and pipe cleaners can reach all kinds of hard to get to areas. Last time I was at my local headshop I picked some up.

  14. That's actually what I use is a Gatorade bottle ( old orange cap 710ml bottles) something with a internal cone on the base of the bottle so the waste can settle while the ISO n salt stay relatively clean.... Drain and add more ISO once a year ish... Basically if it leaves a film after rinsing the down stem under a tap of water than it's too dirty.

Usually its all in the shake method. You want to get the fluid rotating up inside the top of the bottle as you go up and down, thrusting the ISO brim up to the top and expelling down out the down stem... Mostly just thrashing lol. But when done, run under water and good to go

  15. That’s exactly what I’m using.
Yeah I think my iso for cleaning the bowl is getting bad enough to be tossed soon. But my other stuff is still good . I got sick of cleaning it in a bag. IMG_0722.jpeg
