How often do you clean your bongs ; bubblers etc?
I've got one I was cleaning after each use and the one I’m using now it seems downstem is getting all the gunk the bong itself isn’t building up much resin .
What do you use to clean bong/ downstem?

how do you clean downstems easier ? A 2” wide pipe cleaner wouldn’t fit

  2. Not too often since it isn't really necessary. I use an ashcatcher which gets dirty faster but keeps your bong cleaner considerably longer and when u need to clean it you can just throw it in a bag with iso and salt or whatever cleaner. If the downstem comes out putting it in a bag is a good idea

k so use a bag for stem ?
Could poor bong design be why the Amg gets full of resin and my la pipes does not have this issue . The logo make the Amg seem real but I don’t know if it’s a legit one .or how do you authorize them .
Amg is stemless it’s built in ..underneath the perc gets resin too .
La pipes bong only had downstem perc , nothing else . Very basic

Idk it's hard to know without seeing them, all pieces get dirty but like a natural 90 degree downstem (example pic)

should take longer to res up than a removable downstem since it's much wider than most removable

lost that rubber band on the la pipes , shame . It’s clear a basic non perc bong is superior for cleaning purposes. I can only imagine the ufo perc Versions of my bong must be a pain to clean , especially double , triple .

  6. Is that like a bunch of packing shit on your piece? Kinda confused by that. But yeah like that AMG is a 90 degree natural downstem which yeah may get dirty but definitely shouldn't feel like it's clogging on you. Also think about it that piece if pretty tall so the smoke is going to spend very little time at the top vs the bottom so it makes sense that the resin mostly stays towards the bottom.

  7. Baseplate cracked the day I got it or something had to gorilla glue it . Luckily it didn’t crack or damaged the bong interior or I would probably had tossed it . Only the base plate took damage.
I had issues with the Amg the smoke was much harsher then the la pipes not sure if it’s due to less volume or the weed itself I’m smoking is too low grade . It definitely seeems dried out not sure if I would add a orange peel or not , Maybe !!!

  8. I think more water volume tends to be better than more percs. An orange peel will cause mold if left too long so be careful and maybe take out the weed you wanna smoke and use it only on that so you dont risk your whole stash. Or go with a real humidity pack

  9. I would say that a honeycomb diffuser like that is made for smoking dabs and not for smoking weed without an ashcatcher. The holes are so small that they will easily get clogged if you let weed in there.

  10. probably should get an ash catcher?? Hard to find a durable one my last broken.
My no percs bong doesn’t clog but honeycomb does..

  11. Iso and salt didn’t seem to get rid of my residue and my mom or someone threw out my rubbing iso bottle so I gotta waste the rest of my iso just to clean .
