I currently have a 10" bong. It was given to me by a friend, its has a rubber stopper in the base with a down stem with a 4 slot diffuser. I recently have gotten the chance to smoke out of a few high price smoking devices including a larger roor bong and a incredibowl. The roor hit way harder than my bong and was smoother, and I think it had 2 percs. The incredibowl was a way different feeling, with a much stronger head buzz. I have been doing a little research and stumbled upon all the addons and modification you can make to a bong. My questions is, is it worth it, or should I just save up and get a new bong, and if not what are the best attachments and what do they really do? I am really interested in ashcatchers as my bong gets pretty dirty pretty quickly. I am also interested in carbon filters as, from what I've read, should cut down on the negative effects of smoking. Any advice?
Rubber gromet pieces are a thing of the past, you're best off looking at saving up for GonG (Glass on Glass) bong with a 14/18mm fitting which most pieces joints are. I also suggest you buy some hempwick, herbiron or any non butane product. But if you REALLY want to cut down the negative effects, vaporizing is the way to go.
What are the downfalls of rubber grommets? As far as the heat source, I was thinking about getting a glass rod and a butane torch. Would a 6 dollar butane torch be able to heat up a glass rod quickly and efficiently or will I have to get a more heavy duty one?
Que hay chicos, tengo un problema perdí mi cazoleta y en lo que llega la nueva quería saber si hay alguna forma de hacer una casera o modificarlo de algún modo
Yes save your money for a straight tube with double filtration. I prefer flower over dabbing and I have two dab rigs. Also make sure the design looks smart for easy cleaning. Make sure to get a dry ash catcher too. One other thing, the ice pinch isn't really a necessity, but it could prevent something from falling in and damaging the percs. Plus may help from a little splash. Mine is 18 inches, but I could of gone 20 inches..
I'm not a fan of ash catchers, they seem to add more drag, and tend to break here and there. Just save up for a nice tube. My bong, was a little on the pricey side, but EVERYONE who hits it, always asks what brand etc etc. Super smooth, milks thick, and clears instantly.
