I have a bong that has a different type of connection than the bowl, what kind of adapter do i need to get so i can use them together? edit: something like this maybe?
probably better off to just buy a new bong with a glass on glass down stem. To buy JUST a decent glass on glass downsttem will be as expensive as a cheap new bong. or go get one of those cheap bowls with a stem and a rubber stopper. I don't even know what they are called
also the bowl in your picture looks like a 14mm joint. so if you DID go buy a new stem you would want the 14mm joint. also if you bought a glass on glass stem for that bong you might be able to get it to work. but its never going to fit the way its supposed to. good luck bro.
That's not a normal glass on glass downstem that would take a 14 or 18mm bowl by the looks of it. It's one of those rubber grommet ones that isn't as easily replaced. I literally just googled "rubber gromet downstem bowl" and found some stuff that looks like it should work. Measure the length of the downstem and the width and buy the correct bowl that will fit it. Glass on glass is much easier for this kind of stuff tbh and better all around but you should be able to get it to work with this.
