  1. OP hasn't been online since 2013.. I don't think they need advice on lighters anymore dude lol

  2. But all that said I think these people are crazy,i did some things when I was younger right around this time and bids will last a week or more of non stop being lit. :excl::vaping:
To this day though bics are the best mine last me a few months before I lose them. I always buy my bics from walmart in the 5 pack

  3. I use to get the 20 pk from Costco for 19$ Last me n the wife a year didn’t care if the occasional lighter thief took off with one.

  4. BIC is definitely doing some shady shit nowadays. Been using bic lighters for over 20 years and just this last year, every lighter lasts me half as long as it used to. I switched to a metal Clipper lighter. I'm not gonna play the fucking shinkflation game. Such a shame, BIC isn't the best lighter anymore.

  5. I've used Bics for quite a while, but lately I've switched to a brand called Ignitus. It's one of those clear plastic adjustable ones, but they're far more reliable than any other adjustable and I get them for free when I buy my Marbs.

  6. Can you get them on Amazon and are they refillable! ???
I wish they made a refillable lighter, so strange this thread from 2011 got bumped.

  7. Going to resurrect this thread. Tired of Bic filling their lighters with less fluid. I always buy wrapped ones and cut the wrapper. No one else has a white lighter and I can see how full they are. Which is less every time I buy a case.

Anyone have a refillable butane lighter they are happy with? Tons on Amazon but all the reviews are crap.

    Thanks.

  8. I haven't bought butane fuel in years, used it for a mosquito repellent device it was expensive 10 years ago. remember free match books? Plenty of advertising space on a bic??? It'd make great ads for smoke shops. :ey:

  9. last I was in a chinese junk shop ..I bought a box of re fillables and some gas, doing DIY now lol
as I noticed my pile of empty BICS getting bigger

  10. It's funny. A thread gets going and then just stops. Couple years later someone runs across it and it just starts right where it left off. People are still talking about some of the older things.

I haven't used Bics, or any other lighter, for a long time. I quit smoking and don't need one, but Bics used to a long time. I never threw very many Bics away. I'd carry them until that got lost.

  11. people still need a way to light their herb.

  12. How about one of those battery operated ones that get hot when you draw thru them?

  13. Like a vape pen ️? Obviously those people don’t need lighters so why even bring it up lolz .. I’m using a clipper .

  14. Probably because I'm always so wasted. :hookah:

  15. Actually encountered a fairly full one. When you let up on the red button it sounds like an acetylene torch.

  16. Do you live at sea level?
I've lived at 7000' for a few years and noticed lighters don't last as long up here. Pressure and air density I'm guessing.

Otherwise, bics last a good amount of time.

  17. No. I always buy wrapped lighters and cut off the wrapper so I can see how much is left. This one was over 3/4 where they normally barely are 1/2.
