I've always like straight tubes. Don't hate other designs, except the zongs, those things don't clear well.
All I'm going to say is why glycerine? Seems nasty to suck a bong through oil! If you haven't made a bucket bong or lung bong DIY style and enjoyed it, don't get a gravity bong! Gravity bongs to not filter the smoke! Just sucks the smoke in and then push back out!
yeah not sure why gravity is popular if it doesn’t filter anything…for those who like the diy ones ? I’ve never made one .. Yeah I was curious why anyone would want a glycerin bong ? It must be in between the glass itself of the bong which not sure how that’s possible unless it’s hollow. Will it break in half left in freezer too long , ouch …
Ahh I see they look like ice alternatives short freezer time tho . Sounds like a bigger pain then making ice tho , that beaker rips way smoother then my straight tube that lacks ice catcher. Like twice the volume too it seems , .. the Amg gets hotter needs water changed more .
I would say straight if im smoking alone and beaker if im in a group. Nice not to have the water dirty up as quickly with the larger volume beaker.
I normally use a small rig for myself/a friend or two. The product is what matters most, not the glass.
Why is the beaker so much smoother it decimated the straight tube without an ice catcher . Is it the extra volume or more water ? And ice ? Without ice it’s still smooth .. need cleaned more but I don’t gotta worry about percs so it’s way easier . I’d need an ash catcher either frees able or high quality on the straight to even come closer , would still lose I bet . 5 stars for sure on the beaker thick glass basic .. I know other straight tubes may be better then mine tho , it’s pretty basic 1 perc no ice catcher… It’s weird tho 45 degrees bowl is different, I seem to lose more iso cleaning it’s larger by a lot . Need some clear plastic grips or something for ice and cleaning ..
yeah for sure !! Beaker seemed to have enough volume to overcome luke warm or room temp water , especially with ice catcher despite melting faster .. stuff didn’t stick near as much if water wasn’t so ice cold ..
Yeah I've heard that warmer water makes your piece less dirty but cold water is smoother so I always prefer it
Yeah it ends up room temp anyways , but yeah warm makes it too hot . I’m not sure why it stays cleaner tho .. vs ice water .
Idk the exact science behind it but I think basically it's just easier for the resin to attach to something cold
My buddy put hot mint tea in the bong once and it was the best bong rip i've ever taken. Even put the tea bags on the ice catcher.
