Ok well I was chilling with some HEADS and I came up with this good idea. Im making a homemade but I want it to be interchangeable. So basically how I started was by making this pill bottle ashcatcher. Im keeping all accsesories homemade. Im pretty sure I have alot of those markers for stems. So now heres where you all come in. I want to add some other accsesories to it. One plan I had was getting some type of pvc pipe (or simaler) and making an extention so I can make it many different sizes. I also wanted to try to make a dome perc out of some piping but I unaware on how to do this stuff. So if you have any ideas drop em here and drawing wil be nice too. ALSO I am kinda trying to keep it looking legit not just thrown together. What do you think so far?
It looks good except that the a/c look a little bit to slanted towards the tube, not a big issue but it will definitely be annoying and an inconvenience a little bit. AND DUDE +rep you reminded me of a fiesta texas plastic cup that looks exactly like that so I'm gonna make a bong with that and a pill bottle a/c. thank you.
Yeah it works really efficient for a homemade. the reason its slanted is because the stem is slanted. But any ideas for add ons? I want to make a bunch of different things that have been seen on other bongs but my own homemade renditions. any ideas will be appreciated. You can even post a picture of a glass accessory that you have on your bong that i should try to remake. Thanks
I'm not to big of a glasshead but i think about the only "in-tube" add-on you'd be able to add would be an icecatcher. You would need to heat up the side then when it's hot and soft push it in on all sides to make it, btw I haven't done that, I'm just thinking that's how you'd do it. And you could also make an inline a/c, it'd have to be a small one though that you could put on the downstem, if you don't know what that is look here: http://forum.grasscity.com/toking-tools/405448-homemade-inline-two-10-arm-tree-percs-milkvid.html I think that's about all you'd be able to do.
I understand what you mean..but its not glas its like acrylic I guess you would call it. But I mean would it be possible to make a dome perc in side of a pvc pipe because if I can I was thinking it would work some way.I THINK i am going to make an inline instead of just the ash catcher
Yea I think it'd be possible, hard but possible. I'm really not sure how though, oh and wait isn't acrylic a type of plastic? I literally don't even know.
The problem with making a perc is that even if you made a good one, how would you secure it in place and air-tight it?
Well Id make one like the one in the link. id cut a space and put the percs in between the space and secure it with a strip of tape but I am sure I can find snug fitting bottle. This is kinda what I mean. LOL at my paint skills.

u can take two nails, and push them in around the middle of the bong. Then just hot glue it tight, and drop ice in. It'll be like an ice catcher add-on. Btw sweet bong whered u get that beaker from?
Umm buschman what was that about? umm im high. But yeah im working on an actual AC so when I get a smart design that I will use I will post some pictures
I would get a hot glue gun they are like 3.50. You could cut tube in half where you wanted to add the percs and then reseal it airtight with glue. It might add a decent amount of extra height to the tube so if you wanted you could just shorten the parts of the tube that you cut off to keep it about the same. Good luck.
Oh hey Kalec while your in the thread, how did you make your percs with the straws? I understand how the straws bend and shit but how do you seal it airtight and what all do you use? Sorry if it doesn't make much sense
I drill holes into a Vitamin water cap that are the right size for a straw then i super glue each straw into place. Then i build the Tube part out of two cut off tops to vitamin water bottles and glue it together. I'm going to make a Perc tutorial soon, i've been saying i will for a while but the next time i go to the hardware store and pick up the stuff i need and put one up. I should have it up sometime in the next week.
