My views have evolved over the years but this is what I think right now. Forums are communities. Not oracles. They are all full of misinfo. That's just the nature of the beast. Sometimes it's on purpose and sometimes by accident. Read research papers if looking for the opinions of bona fide experts. Ask for citations if none are given, or if shy just Google the info and authenticate it yourself.
none of us are professionally qualified, which means we do not get paid for our advice. Free advice? Every human being has the right to give that away.
None of us are professionally qualified...? Wait a minute.... Many of us have over thirty years of growing in almost every method possible and now run large grows or have dispensaries. Running these businesses and grow operations successfully, dealing with state and federal regulations, handling investors, paying taxes... and having the passion to still follow through IMO shows more “ professionalism “ than many other businesses out there!
Ok my bad. From what i've seen over the years, some in here are professionally qualifed. But then again, there is a plethora of non pro growers in this forum that make up the bulk of most of the advice thats being given. Not bad advice either! Unless somebody tells you to spray raid ant killer on the roots......
How many people on a stoner forum are medically/scientifically qualified to give advice... Wow I wonder. Dude if you want medical advice ask a doctor. If you want advice on how to grow or smoke weed, plenty of people can help you here. Use common sense.
